01
Flexible Hardware Options
Each NDC node is a plug-and-play minicomputer that can be connected to any 5V power source. The hardware is designed to be adaptable with multiple architectures and specifications available:
-
x86 Version (Intel): Features an i9 processor with 64 GB of RAM for high-performance computing tasks.
-
Nvidia Version: Equipped with a 6-core processor (Orin NX series) and 16 GB of RAM, ideal for AI and parallel computing.
-
ARM Version: A 4-core processor with 2 GB of RAM, suitable for less intensive edge tasks.
NDC nodes also feature multiple network modules (including Wi-Fi, UWB, 3G/4G/5G, and wired Ethernet) and can integrate embedded sensors such as HD cameras and microphones.
02
HEAVEN: The Resilient Telecom Layer
Our proprietary HEAVEN layer delivers advanced networking to every NDC device.
-
Distributed Mesh Network: Fully distributed, supporting Ethernet, Wi-Fi (multiple modes), Bluetooth, LTE/5G.
-
Container Virtualization: Powered by Docker/CUDA, enabling rapid deployment of IoT and AI workloads.
-
Adaptive Communication: Offers broadcast and one-to-one services, multiple routing protocols, and TCP/RUDP/UDP support for reliable, efficient data transfer.
03
Intelligent Orchestration
At the heart of NDC is an enhanced orchestration layer powered by our Multi-period Distributed Orchestration (MDO) daemon.
-
Resource Choreographer: Dynamically allocates computing power across the network.
-
Network Orchestrator: Optimizes operation modes and communication links in real time, adapting to dynamic environments.
04
The "StemCell": The 5G Advantage
The StemCell feature makes every NDC node a dynamic part of the 5G network.
-
Virtualized RAN Roles: Each node can flexibly serve as a CU, DU, or MT, functioning independently or in clusters.
-
Optimized Performance: Smart role-switching ensures efficient resource allocation, stronger coverage, and minimal interference.
Multi-Layered Architecture: Flexibility and Versatility
The Nano Data Center (NDC) is Humanitas Solutions’ flagship distributed edge computing platform. Designed as a plug-and-play, multi-layered system, NDC transforms any space—whether urban, rural, or industrial—into a responsive, intelligent, and automated environment.
With its flexible hardware, resilient telecom layer, intelligent orchestration, and 5G-ready architecture, NDC enables real-time data, automation, and secure connectivity anywhere.
